I’ll send a small donation to charity with every single wedding that I’m booked for!

Giving a little with every booking is really important to me and I’m proud to be doing it! I know that £3 per booking isn’t a lot but something is better than nothing. It all adds up too! I started my charity donations on November 1st 2019 and between then and January 1st 2024, I have raised and donated over £340 to a small variety of charities.

The charity that I donate to is determined by my Annual Charity Calendar. It isn’t determined by what month your wedding is, it’s determined by the month that you secure your booking with me.

This year’s charities have been picked by my followers on Facebook.

Devon Air Ambulance was a very popular choice this year and I do love supporting local charities. The Brain Tumour Charity was another very popular choice. I know two people who have recently been battling brain tumours, so it’s also a charity that is very close to my heart. Huntington’s Disease Association was chosen by a previous bride, so this is for you Shannon. I was happy to see that Dogs Trust was chosen by a recent bride, I always try to ensure I have at least one animal charity every year and I LOVE dogs! And Children’s Hospice South West was another great suggestion by one of my followers. Then I picked Shelter to donate to in November and December. Shelter was the first charity I started donating to through my business back in 2019 and I’ve kept it in my charity calendar every year since. It feels important to me that I keep supporting the charity that first inspired me to create this annual calendar.

Previous charities I have donated to over the years through my wedding bookings are: Cancer Research UK, RSPCA, Age UK, MIND, The British Heart Foundation, Stop Hate UK, St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth, Woodside Animal Welfare Trust, Andy’s Man Club, Brain Tumour Research, Luna’s Fund, Gables Dogs and Cats Home, Jeremiah’s Journey and The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation.
