What happens if we book your Elopement/Micro Wedding package but we end up having over 13 Guests (15 people in total) at the wedding?

I will offer you my BESPOKE package meaning you can have up to 20 people in total (that’s 18 guests) for an additional £50.

If you end up having more than 20 people (18 guests) at your wedding then you not be eligible for the Elopement/Micro Wedding package or the Bespoke Package. You will be expected to pay the prices listed in the weddings over 15 people packages.

What if we’re not 100% sure how many people we’ll have there?

That’s fine, sometimes we won’t know the final numbers until just before the wedding. You can just book me for the Elopement/Micro Wedding package initially and if your guest list does increase then you will need to pay the relevant extra charges once we know your final guest numbers.

Why would you charge us more for having just one or two more guests?

The short answer to this is that I have to draw the line somewhere. If I make exceptions for you then I will feel obliged to do so for other couples. And then before you know it this package (which was designed for elopements) will end up with 20 - 25 people and that’s neither an elopement or a micro wedding.

If the package was designed for elopements, why do you allow up to 15 people (13 guests)?

Elopements by tradition, are just two people marrying with no guests at all. But in recent years the definition of elopements has changed and many couples are now having a very small amount of guests present. The usual guests attending are parents and children of the couple marrying.

I recognise that not every person has two parents. Some parents remarry and therefore one person can often have four parents. So I wanted to be able to accommodate for this. If both of you have four parents, that’s 8 parents in total. Eight people plus the two of you = 10 people in total.
But I wanted to also accommodate for children, so I allowed for an extra 5 people. That’s 15 people in total.

But let’s face it, 15 people in total is not an Elopement. So I named the package Elopements/Micro Weddings, as that seemed more appropriate.

Dogs and other animals are not included in the head count.

The Bespoke package is here to bridge the gap between my Elopement/Micro Wedding package and my standard Wedding package. It’s my way of being accommodating for different types of weddings. I understand that it’s frustrating being asked to pay an extra £50 even if you have just the one extra guest but it’s got to be better than paying an extra £190 for my standard wedding package (and if this Bespoke package was not an option, that would be what is expected). I feel like if I don’t enforce these charges, then there’s no point in me offering the elopement package in the first place.

Any wedding over 20 people in total (18 guests) will be expected to pay my standard wedding package prices.
