Vikki and Steve had their pre-wedding photo shoot with me last weekend at Edgcumbe and it was so great to be able to do this for them, at long last. They initially booked me back in 2018 for a 2020 wedding and I’m sure I don’t have to explain what happened there… They’re actually the longest booked couple I think I’ve ever had as it will be 4 years between booking and getting married! I’m just so pleased that they were able to reschedule their date with me and that I will finally get to see this gorgeous couple tie the knot this July.

Believe it or not, they were a little anxious about having their pre wedding photos but it didn’t show at all, they looked so natural together which made my job very easy. Olivia and Freddie came along with us at the photo shoot and I took a couple of family shots of the four of them together. It’s always good to give the kids a little wedding day practice too - little Freddie wasn’t very happy having his photo taken but I did manage to get some smiles thanks to his Dops (grandad) clowning around behind me. Hopefully Freddie will remember me on the wedding day and hopefully the photo parts of the day won’t seem too strange for him anymore. If I do have any trouble getting smiles from him then I know to get Dops on the case! Kids and pets are always welcome at pre-wedding photo shoots as long as the photo shoot is mainly centred around the happy couple (as it is a couple shoot after all) and so it was great that Dops was able to come along to the photo shoot as well and keep an eye on the kids whilst Vikki and Steve had their photos done.

Not long to go now Vikki and Steve. I can’t wait to see you get married!
