Hi, I’m Leah!
And the first thing you need to know about me is…
I have been a wedding photographer for 12 years and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Weddings are some of the best days that life has to offer us, and documenting these incredible events is truly an honour.
I grew up in Cornwall and now live in Devon but both counties feel like home to me. Being based in the South West, most of the weddings I capture are within Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. But my work photographing weddings does occasionally take me around the UK too and I’m always excited to explore new places!
My approach is to capture your wedding day as naturally as possible - those candid photos are often the ones that have a story to tell. I want to make photos for you that are treasured for decades to come - the same way I treasure my Grandparent’s wedding photos from 1953. Weddings aren’t just about the unplanned moments though, the portraits and group photos are just as important - it’s not every day the whole family is together in one place. So I won’t shy away from offering a little direction or creativity, if and when situation calls for it. The main thing you need to know about my approach is that I will adapt to you! Before the wedding, I’ll take the time to get to know what matters to you and how you want your wedding story to be told.

I believe that every couple deserves a wedding photographer who wants to be there and loves their job.
I’m often approached by wedding guests who tell me that they can see how much I love my job, because I am smiling, dancing and laughing as I work. The excitement and enthusiasm I have for my job has not worn off over the 12 years that I have been photographing wedding days. I feel sure that I would want to continue working even if I won the lottery because I get so much enjoyment from what I do.

All of my wedding photography packages offer hourly coverage options, starting from three hours coverage up to full day photography coverage.
You can include vintage film photography to your wedding, with my optional extra called GO VINTAGE!

My love of film cameras actually led me to find a camera that had undeveloped film inside for 28 years! I developed the film and with the power of Facebook I was able to reunite the photos with the family. Read about my mystery camera and the photos I found here.
